The sixth annual workshop on "WIreless Systems: Advanced Research and Development" (WISARD 2012) will provide a platform for researchers from both academia and industry to present and discuss high quality research and development in the area of wireless systems. It will be held as a part of COMSNETS 2012 in Chancery Pavilion Hotel, Bangalore, India.
A key goal of the workshop is to expose research students in India to front line research in wireless systems, and provide a platform for them to interact with leading researchers from India and abroad.
The workshops will have two tracks - demos and research papers.
Submissions are invited to present new research covering all layers of the protocol stack: physical to application. Submissions must be unpublished and original, and not more than 6 pages (for the research paper tracks) and 2 pages (for the demo track). They should not be currently under review for publication in any other venue. We especially encourage submissions on wireless/network systems targeted for the developing world. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Submission instructions are available at the workshop website: here
Accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings published by IEEE.
The research papers track will also feature invited talks. The list of invited speakers will be updated on the workshop website.
